Uniqueness
The Metasequoia is a striking appearance among bonsai. As one of the few deciduous conifers, its needles turn a beautiful copper-brown in autumn before they fall. Thanks to its straight trunk and fine branch structure, it looks like a miniature version of the mighty dawn redwood in nature. This species was only rediscovered in the 20th century and is therefore also called a ‘living fossil’. A fascinating story that makes this bonsai extra special.

Yes, when you purchase one of our bonsai, the pot is included as standard. You will receive the bonsai at home with everything shown in the photo. For bonsai that come with a drip tray, this is included as well.

No, caring for a bonsai doesn’t have to be difficult, especially with the care guide you receive free with your order. On our website you’ll also find a wealth of information. Still have questions? No worries—we’re always here to answer them, even long after your purchase!
Please note: You will not receive the exact same bonsai as shown in the photo. You will receive a specimen with: the same age, height, pot, drip tray (if this is shown in the product photo) and shape. Because every bonsai is unique, unfortunately it is not possible to place a separate photo of every tree on the website. Would you still like to see exactly which bonsai you will receive? Feel free to request a photo. We will then send it to you before packing.
No, we strongly advise against keeping an outdoor bonsai indoors. An outdoor bonsai needs different seasons. Indoors it doesn’t get these, which means it will die after a few months. You can always try, but in that case we can no longer offer a guarantee.
